What was documented
Our team captured a broad range of campus environments including classrooms, lecture halls, offices, libraries, theaters, performance spaces, mechanical rooms, basements, and rooftop areas. Through laser scanning and field documentation, interior layouts, ceiling systems, infrastructure components, and architectural conditions were recorded and assembled into a coordinated dataset representing the campus in detail.
What was delivered
Pointknown delivered detailed floor plans, reflected ceiling plans (RCPs), and a coordinated Revit model that provided a complete 3D representation of the documented facilities. These deliverables created a flexible digital resource that supports future design, operational analysis, renovation planning, and facility coordination initiatives.
Why it matters
Higher education environments evolve constantly and require accurate information for planning and infrastructure management. By creating a centralized digital twin across multiple buildings, SVA gained a dependable source of existing-conditions data that reduces uncertainty, improves decision-making, and minimizes the need for repeated site surveys.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

A complete existing conditions package, from reality capture to usable deliverables.

This project demonstrates the scalability and speed of Pointknown’s reality capture workflows. Documenting more than fourteen buildings in a one-week timeframe required careful coordination and efficient field execution while maintaining high levels of accuracy across diverse facility types. The result was a unified dataset that supports both immediate needs and long-term campus planning goals.

WHY POINTKNOWN

The value is not in the scan itself. It is in what your team can do next.

Design-ready deliverables

Measured information is structured into clean Revit and CAD outputs so architects, owners, and developers can move quickly.

Clear communication

Pointknown focuses on clarity. The process stays in the background. The usable result stays front and center.

One source of truth

A single field effort supports visualization, planning, modeling, and documentation—without repeated site visits or fragmented information.
