What was documented
Pointknown documented the full existing conditions of the multi-unit residence, including interior units, shared circulation spaces, and exterior building envelope—captured as a unified dataset within a constrained urban site.
What was delivered
The project was delivered as a coordinated Revit model built from high-accuracy reality capture data, providing a clear and reliable digital representation of the building for design and planning workflows.
Why it matters
Multi-unit buildings in dense urban environments require precise documentation to manage complexity and shared systems. A unified model improves coordination, reduces uncertainty, and supports efficient renovation planning.
BRIEF HISTORY

Newton Centre, Newton, Massachusetts is one of Greater Boston’s most established residential neighborhoods, known for its walkable village center, historic homes, and carefully preserved streetscapes. Developed during the late 19th and early 20th centuries as part of Newton’s “garden suburb” evolution, the area continues to blend historic architectural character with thoughtful modernization and restoration.
