Campus Brewster NY
Pointknown was engaged to document the former Melrose School campus in Brewster, New York, capturing a multi-building educational site and its surrounding landscape. The objective was to produce accurate existing-conditions documentation across the entire campus to support future planning, renovation, and potential adaptive reuse.
Brewster, New York is a historic town in Putnam County known for its former railroad hub and evolving educational and residential developments. The Melrose School campus reflects this legacy of institutional use, representing a site where thoughtful documentation supports potential future reinvention while preserving its established physical character.
A complete existing conditions package, from reality capture to usable deliverables.
This project highlights the value of integrating multiple capture technologies to document complex campus systems efficiently. By modeling directly in Revit from unified scan data, the workflow enabled flexible output generation while maintaining consistency across all deliverables, from conceptual SketchUp models to technical CAD documentation.
The value is not in the scan itself. It is in what your team can do next.
Design-ready deliverables
Measured information is structured into clean Revit and CAD outputs so architects, owners, and developers can move quickly.
Clear communication
Pointknown focuses on clarity. The process stays in the background. The usable result stays front and center.
One source of truth
A single field effort supports visualization, planning, modeling, and documentation—without repeated site visits or fragmented information.
If you are planning, renovating, leasing, or evaluating a building, clear existing conditions matter.
Pointknown helps design teams and property stakeholders move forward with confidence by turning existing buildings into usable, decision-ready information.
